How to read the crypto market in 3 minutes a day
A simple daily routine for beginners: check the mood, the cause, the calendar and the key levels. No charts or trading required.
You don't need to watch charts all day to understand what crypto is doing. Four quick questions cover most of it, and they take about three minutes.
1. What's the mood? (30 seconds)
Check a sentiment score. Is the market fearful, neutral or greedy, and has that changed sharply since yesterday? A big swing is your cue to find out why.
2. What moved it? (1 minute)
Most moves come from a short list of causes: interest rates, the stock market, ETF flows, forced selling or big news. Find the one or two that explain today. See why Bitcoin falls for the usual suspects.
3. What's coming up? (1 minute)
Look at today's and this week's calendar: Fed decisions, inflation data, large options expiries. Knowing these in advance means fewer surprises.
4. Which levels matter? (30 seconds)
Note the nearest support and resistance for the coins you care about. If one breaks, expect a bigger move.
