Who we are
SteelWater Insights (steelwaterinsights.com) publishes a daily crypto market report from 10 Anson Road, Level 33, International Plaza, Singapore 079903. Questions about your data: support@steelwaterinsights.com. We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Account: your email address, a securely hashed password, your country of residence and your plan.
- Payments: handled by Whop. We receive your membership status and the email you paid with, never your card details.
- Email activity: which service emails we sent you and whether they were delivered.
- How you found us: when you arrive from a link with a campaign tag, or from another website, we keep that tag or site name (for example "telegram" or "google") in a session cookie and save it with your account if you sign up. It contains no personal data. If you arrive through a member's invite link, we keep that invite code for 30 days so the member who invited you gets credit if you sign up.
- Security: your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated sign-in attempts.
Why we use it
To run your account, deliver the reports and emails your plan includes, process payments, keep the service secure, and understand which of our channels people find useful. We don't sell your data and we don't use advertising trackers.
Cookies
We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, the session-only "how you found us" cookie and the 30-day invite cookie described above. No third-party advertising cookies.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site for us: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Resend (email delivery) and Whop (payments). Their servers may be outside Singapore; we use providers with recognised data-protection safeguards.
Emails
Account emails (welcome, password reset, plan changes) are part of the service. The morning report and alert emails can be switched off from the link at the bottom of each one.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your account data while your account is open. To see, correct or delete your data, or close your account, email support@steelwaterinsights.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell members by email.
